«Conti» (also known as «Wizard Spider») is one of the most aggressive cybercriminal groups that distributes the ransomware program of the same name according to the business model «RaaS» («Ransomware-as-a-Service»).
Developed on the basis of the software code of the Ryuk trojan. The main distribution method is the TrickBot botnet and the BazarLoader trojan.
The Conti ransomware was first discovered in December 2019.
